EZSmiles is designed to help childcare centers, schools, and camps communicate instantly and keep parents up to date about their child's day. Using EZSmiles, parents receive pictures, announcements, schedule changes, notes, and reminders from their child’s teacher, camp counselor or administrators.

Changes: EZSmiles 2021.02 brings three improvements to Contactless Check-In/Out:
. We've removed the "Undo" button from the parent Check-in/Out screen to prevent parents from checking children in and then removing the check-in by mistake.
. New in-app messaging will display when Check-in/Out information is saved and viewable on all devices.
. The message to parents outside of a center’s geo-fence now will provide information on how close they need to be to that center to use Contactless Check-in.

Changes: EZSmiles 2021.01 brings a major improvement to its Contactless Check-in feature:
. Parents will be prompted to allow the EZSmiles app to access their location via their mobile devices.
. When a parent is within a set distance of the site address entered into EZCare, the Check-In/ Check-Out button will be enabled, allowing them to check children in and out.
This new feature works in conjunction with the integrated EZCare child care management software’s Contactless Check-In settings.

. EZSmiles was reporting time to EZCare using the EST time zone instead of the local time zone of an organization. This has been corrected.

Changes: Staff members can now queue Daily Log messages and schedule them to be sent once a day. This means parents receive one push notification with all of these messages just one time instead of being pinged constantly throughout the day with snack and potty updates that can wait until later.

. Errors when sending Smiles messages with pictures and large boxes of text have been resolved.
. Messages can only be sent to families of children with Active status in EZCare.
