Onland
Onland is hoe moerasgebied ooit genoemd werd, land waar niks op te verbouwen viel, een soort tussengebied, niet helemaal land, Onland. Het afgelopen jaar heeft Extrapool programma gemaakt onder de noemer Swamps, onze bubbelende magische chaos omarmend. Een ruimte voor ongedefinieerde wezens en wilde verhalen. Het zuigt je op en spuugt je uit. Met Onland gaan we introspectief te werk, een moerassig programma over het moeras.
Tijdens twee opeenvolgende weekenden in april en mei zal Extrapool de mystieke creaties en verhalen van Dakota Magdalena Mokhammad presenteren. Samen brengen we het werk van Pedro Matias in kaart, gaan we een symbiotische relatie aan met Alga’s bar van EAT ART collective, ervaren we de performatieve samenwerking tussen Eva Garibaldi en Matilde Stolfa en eindigen we met een sponzige filmavond met Moss Berke.

Onland
Onland is a word used for wetlands unfit for cultivation, too complex and strange to make sense of. But where crops won’t grow, other things will. For the past year Extrapool has been making programs called Swamps, embracing our bubbling magical chaos. A space for undefined creatures and wild stories to suck you in and spit you out. Now, Extrapool is going introspective with Onland, a swampy program about the swamp. A group of artists will work in boggy ways, making connections, getting lost and finding their ways again within our Extrapool marshes.
During two consecutive weekends in April and May Extrapool will host the mystical creations and stories of Dakota Magdalena Mokhammad. Together, we’ll find our way through Pedro Matias’ emotional mapping, engage in a symbiotic relationship with Alga’s bar from EAT ART collective, witness the performative collaboration between Eva Garibaldi and Matilde Stolfa and have a spongy movie night with Moss Berke.
