I am eagerly awaiting doing enough work today that I can, in good conscience, go and hulu last night's Nolan Show. Possibly spoilery, but not very:
Emmanda really seems to think she's in a 2-D Revengespace when it's really 3-D--I mean, the people she thinks can simply be whacked around as billiard balls actually keep getting up off the table for reasons of their own.
With the minor difference that "matchmaking" isn't exactly the same thing as "fucking people's shit RIGHT UP," Emmanda:Aimily is not just, as many have pointed out, Buffy:Faith but Emma Woodhouse:Harriet Smith--the lower-class protegee who has to be shoved out of the way when she appears to have potential as a rival.
Just past 3,000 words on the Revenge x Firefly story, it'll probably go about 5,000 words, which is a good guess anyway because pretty much ALL of my stories go about 5,000 words.
