lol hi C: hey, 150th post!
We'll be turning
into
in PSP XI. Translatable.
01 Start with your base. I always sharpen at the end, but you're free to do whatever you'd like.

02 Make a new layer and fill it with #4f0605. Set this layer to luminance 50%.

03 Duplicate that color layer and change the settings to exclusion 100%.

04 You totally love this icon now, y/y? We're going to fix this by duplicating the base and setting it to softlight 100%

05 Add a Channel Mixer layer, uncheck Monochrome, and input these settings:
Red: 110 -5 0 0
Green: 5 95 0 0
Blue: 10 -10 100 -5

06 Looking better. Make a new layer and fill it with #e6f4fe, setting it to softlight 100%.

07 Duplicate your softlighted base and bring it to the top.

08 Add a Hue/Saturation layer and set Saturation to 15.

09 Love them adjustment layers. Add a Levels layer and input these settings:
RGB: 10 130 240
Blue: 20 138 235

10 And you're done! If necessary, brighten up your image with a Brightness/Contrast layer, like I did.

I encourage you to post your results, because I love seeing them :D
SAMPLES MADE WITH THIS TUTORIAL
