I finished my fist year of college. I miss everyone terribly already and I must admit I am secretly counting down the days until we get back.

I went to the DMV and finally took the first steps to getting my drivers license. Yay for permits.

The weather was so gorgeous today I was thisclose to skipping all my classes (including a midterm) so I could lie down and nap in the sun. UGH sometimes I hate living near the beach :(

Saturday/Sunday I slept at 6:30 AM
Last night I didn't fall asleep until 7 something and I was up two hours later.

Whoo! Greetings from 2008! I had totally planned this awesome LJ-catching-up-filled Christmas but when I got home I realized that...hey! Blogs are still blocked in China. W0ot. I missed the big Christmas post but I hope everyone has been having a fun and goody filled holiday.

As for me, over the last four months I realized that:

- College is freakin' awesome.
- Life without a car sucks and involves heavy grocery lifting.
- I suck at managing time and my bank account.
- I don't read for pleasure enough.
- American Apparel > life.
- Demetri Martin, Pushing Daisies, Gossip Girl, Flight of the Conchords and Chuck are my newest not-so-guilty pleasures.
- Kettle corn, peppermint bark, craisins and Malibu Rum will be the end of me.
- Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert withdrawal gets ugly fast.
- I need a job.

The best thing that happened to me today: I bought an old school polaroid camera for a dollar on Ebay and it came today! :)

The best thing that happened to me this week: My suite bought a Christmas Tree last night and oh gosh I'm feeling the holiday cheer :) I can't believe I haven't decorated in four years!

The worst thing that happened to me this month: SCHOOL. I feel like I'm failing at life right now. haha My second round of midterms weren't so great and finals are creeping up on me faster than I would like. I don't know how I did homework and got things done in high school because I can't seem to manage my time anymore :(
