Projekt Revolution in two words: MOTHERFUCKING AMAZING.

I literally baked in the sun for 4 hours, nearly vomited, nearly passed out, nearly died, spent money on overpriced beverages, and came home with the worst headache ever..... But I would do it all over again, exactly the same, in a second.

Details under cut to spare your f-lists.

Sam, Brooke, and Jenny picked me up at about 11:15-ish and we were off to the venue. The ride there was long, but fun. We get there and we head inside. The second stage and a bunch of booths are set up in the parking lot so we spend some time walking around looking at booths and kinda watching the second stage. About 15-30 minutes after we arrive I notice that if you stand off to the side, you can see the side of the stage and backstage very well. And I see Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park (Please note: I don't give a fuck about Linkin Park) hanging out so I figure, "Hmm. Maybe someone from MCR will come out and I can see them." So I decide that I am not leaving this spot. This spot is not in the shade. It's about 90,000,000 degrees out and the sun is beating down on me. I start getting very hot and woozy. Sam, Brooke, and Jenny come by and I tell them of my plan. I tell them that I know Gerard usually comes out and stands off to the side to watch MSI so I am going to wait here until MSI comes on to see if I can see him. They think this is a good plan... Until about 2 hours later when MSI is not scheduled to be on for another half an hour or so and I look like death.

Sam trys to persuade me to come with them to their spot on the hill, sit down in the shade, and get something to drink because I look like I'm about to pass out. My response: "I am fucking seeing Gerard!" She continues to try to convince me but I am having none of it. Brooke and Jenny finally convince her that I will be okay and they leave for the hill. I promise to call them if I see Gerard. So MSI comes on, and I wait. And I wait. And I wait. And no Gerard. I start to get peeved because I am literally nearly dying just to catch a glimpse of this man. His ass better be out here. I look over to the other side of the stage and see a man who vaguely resembles him. I freak, push my way through the crowd to the other side. The man I noticed was not, in fact, Gerard. But as I arrive at the other side I see a blur of black hair and blue jean jacket take off running around the corner behind the stage. It is Gerard. I realize he is running back over to the side where I was at. I start shaking and I call Sam while pushing my way back through the crowd and going back to my original side. I am paraphrasing a bit, but the conversation when something like this,
Sam: Hello?
Me: I saw him. I fucking saw him.
Sam: What?
Me: GERARD! I FUCKING SAW GERARD!
Sam: WHAT?! WHERE ARE YOU?
Me: I'm still where I was when you left me, get your asses over here now! NOW!

So I get back to my original position and there he is, standing off to the side watching the set. Gerard MOTHERFUCKING Way. He's about 10-20 feet away from me. I literally couldn't feel my legs for a while (I'm not sure if that was Gerard or the heat to be honest XD) and I just stood there staring. Oh and I also snapped a few pictures. Gradually more people started noticing him and a crowd develops and we aren't allowed to take pictures anymore. Jimmy Urine (from MSI) noticed and was like: "*points over to where Gerard is standing* What the fuck is that, the VIP section? There is no VIP section, we're in a fucking parking lot!!" It was funny XD and Gee laughed. Some people start yelling at Gerard, which completely pisses me off. He's trying to watch a show. Leave him alone. He ignored us (which, in my opinion, was the best thing for him to do in that situation) and kept watching, which pissed some people off. After a while of staring and watching him sing/dance along (WHICH WAS ADORABLE! XD There is nothing better than seeing Gerard Way singing lines like "Bitches love me 'cause they know that I can rock!") I was about to die from heat so I got Sam to go with me to get water. This involved climbing stairs. I nearly died on those stairs. No joke.

So I get my water, and sit down, and Sam and I talk about how amazing everything is so far. After I feel like I can stand up without collapsing, we go back down to the parking lot. Sam buys an MSI shirt and we catch the last MSI song (MSI are -AMAZING- by the way) and then it's time to go inside to the main stage. As we are walking, Brooke tells me about how mad some of these people were getting at Gerard for not acknowledging them. Apparently someone was like, "He's such an asshole!" I am -pissed-. Dude. He's not out there to talk to fans, he's not performing, he is watching his friends play a set. That's it. He doesn't owe you a fucking thing. Go fuck yourselves.

We go inside and they go to their lawn seats and I go to my pavillion seats and we agree to meet up when Linkin Park comes on because none of us like Linkin Park that much so we're going to skip them and wait by the buses. My seats are pretty good! I am pleased. Julien-K plays and they're alright. Placebo plays and they are amazing! HIM plays and I was slightly disappointed. I thought they'd be better. Taking Back Sunday plays and I fall head over heels in love with Adam Lazarra yet again! The man is fucking adorable. Then it happens. The moment I have been waiting for since May. MCR TAKE THE MOTHERFUCKING STAGE.

The show was "OMFG" amazing. My only complaint is the lack of Mikeyway. I wanted him to be back. But life goes on, I suppose. I was disappointed by the lack of Frerard. During "The Sharpest Lives," Frank basically jumped on Gerard and Gerard very elaborately shoved him away. He seemed a little upset. Then afterwards he said something like, "Too far tonight. It went too far." I'm not sure exactly -what- he was referring to but I thought he meant Frank. So Frank and Gee pretty much do not interact the rest of the night. They kind of seem to ignore each other. It hurt my heart and I hope everything is okay with them. Frank and Ray had some cute moments though. Frank walked over and put his head against Ray's back for a minute or so and you could see them talking during pretty much every break. It was cute :)

So MCR goes off and I call Sam. We meet up and go out to the buses which are surprisingly very easy to access. Sam and Brooke go to the car to get cameras and markers and stuff while Jenny and I wait by the buses. We're waiting and waiting. There's a group of about twenty of us. We see dudes from some of the bands on the second stage (Madina Lake, I think, and we kept seeing Jimmy Urine). All of a sudden a gold cart rides by. Gee and Lyn Z (she is absolutely -GORGEOUS- by the way) are on the back of it and it's so CUTE! They were kinda snuggling. It made me happy. Then they went on the bus and Gerard pulled the blinds down so we couldn't see anymore than that. Brooke and Sam came back and we told them we saw Gerard but didn't meet him. We were then ushered by security to the other side of this little lane type-thingie. The buses are still -right- there so we're not upset by this move.

We meet these nice girls from Canada and we spend much of the night talking with them. Then there are these other stupid girls who do nothing but talk shit about Lyn Z and I want to hurt them. Anywho. Ray walks by with his hoodie up talking on his cell phone. Two girls try to approach him and are shut down by the coolest move ever. They start to walk up to him and all of a sudden this golf cart appears out of NO WHERE and drives alongside Ray and the people in the cart tell the girls to go away. It was fucking awesome. So people start yelling rudely at Ray to come over and I yell back at them, "Let him go, he's on the phone!" I hate people yelling at them and being rude.

So then we wait some more. And all of a sudden I see two people and an adorable puppy start walking up. This is me as it's happening, "... Is that Frank? Guys, is that Frank? Is that Frank? Holy shit that's Frank. THAT'S FRANK." It was Frank, Jamia, and their new puppy! He gets closer and I go, "Hi Frank!" and I wave at him. He smiles at me, waves back, and says, "Hi!" and I told him he had a cute dog and he smiled and waved again and they went to the bus. I am FREAKING OUT because Frank FUCKING Iero just waved, smiled, and said hello to me. I call Angie and start to tell her but as this is happening, I notice Frank coming out of the bus and coming over to us. This is my reaction, "Yeah he smiled and waved an- OH MY GOD HE'S COMING BACK! I HAVE TO GO I'LL TALK TO YOU LATER BYE." XD

So Frank comes over, says hello to everyone, and tells us all to get into a line and he'll sign stuff but he doesn't want to take pictures. So I have him sign my ticket, I tell him thank you, and I ask if I can have a hug (I WAS THE FIRST ONE HE HUGGED!). He says, "Of course!" and hugs me and thanks me for coming out to the show and I am going to melt because I am hugging FRANK IERO. I am shaking and I can't breathe a little and I need to sit down. I am flipping out. He goes down the line and I hear all these people having conversations with him and saying cool stuff and I realize I should have said something else. So I grab Brooke's silver Sharpie, get back in line, and ask him to sign my shirt too. He does and I tell him thank you for everything and he thanks me again for coming out and says "Without you, we're nothing. So thank -you-." and I give him another hug and I go into full fangirl mode and go, "I love you so much!" and he says thank you and he is the sweetest man ever and I love him. <333

He sticks around talking for a little bit and I lurk around him and he's talking to this girl about charities or something and I'm standing next to her and as he's talking to her, he looks over at me and gestures to me and randomly includes me in the conversation. I nearly melted. Someone mentions him not doing pictures because he's in a hurry and he says, "Well not really, I'm just not a picture guy. I don't like pictures of me." and he looks at me and shrugs. So I go, "Oh but you're so cute." And he smiled and kinda blushed and went, "Well thank you! I'm glad you think so." And then he said good-bye and went back to the bus. We spend the next few minutes FREAKING THE FUCK OUT BECAUSE WE JUST MET FRANK MOTHERFUCKING IERO. I call Angie again and tell her but once again, we are interuppted. Because Ray comes out.

Ray comes out and signs. He seems like he's in a hurry and he said he was sick so we didn't get to hug him. But he is -GORGEOUS- in person! I wanted to touch the Toro!Fro but he seemed in a hurry so I just let him sign my shirt and thanked him. He used Brooke's Sharpie because he didn't have one, and he went to give it back and I started to take it and he started to thank me for letting him use it and then Brooke goes, "WAIT! THAT WAS -MY- SHARPIE!" and Ray goes, "I THOUGHT it was yours!" and just kinda gives me this amused look. He walks back to the bus and I yell at Brooke for ruining my moment with Ray. XD

A little while later, Lyn Z walked out and I totally just wanted to run over and hug her but we settled for yelling nice things at her and waving. She smiled and waved back. :) I totally tried tracking her down to give her a hug, but I couldn't find her after that. Also, at some point in this adventure, Jenny paid Jimmy Urine (who was riding around on a bike the entire time XD) $5 to kiss her and he did and we were -all- amused. :)

We waited a little longer and then decided that no one else was probably coming out, especially because the Linkin Park set ended and the crowd was growing so we left. We got lost for about 3 hours (don't ask how that happened XD) but it was the BEST night of my life. I got hugged twice by Frank and I met Ray. I should be in school right now but fuck that. I am too tired and sore and still in awe.

Random notes from the evening: Frank is a tiny little man! He's pretty much as tall as me! I was surprised. And he's wicked adorable. He's also the biggest sweetheart ever. He was so gracious and so nice. And Ray is just beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Lyn Z is gorgeous and the Canada girls met her and said she was an absolute sweetheart. I still can't get over the fact that I saw JAMIA too! I would have yelled "hi" to her too but I'm not entirely sure on the correct pronunciation of her name and I didn't want to look like an idiot if I got it wrong. I think it's "Ja-Me-Uh" but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify for me?

In short: even though I nearly died for it and I now have the -WORST- case of sunburn ever (Srsly. Why did sunblock never even occur to me??) it was the best night of my life. Best. Night. Ever. <333333

Here's the deal:

I really did not want to do this. I really didn't. However, scanning through some of the comments left on YouTube with the new My Chemical Romance video, it has become glaringly obvious that something needs to be said.

Dear My Chemical Romance fans,

I have to get this out of the way first: yes, Gerard dyed his hair black. He did this three months ago and the constant obsession about it is just as annoying now as it was three months ago. It's HAIR people. Just hair. Let it go. While we're dealing with appearances yes, all of the members of the band are attractive. No, we do not need thirty thousand, "OMG! *Insert name of your favorite MCR member here* IS SOOOO HOT! I WANT TO MARRY HIM AND HAVE HIS BABIES!" comments to get the idea. We all have eyes. We all can clearly see how beautiful they are. Thanks, but it's not needed.

Alright, moving right along: STOP. DEFENDING. YOURSELVES.

Now I say this with a purpose. I know we are a protective insanely loyal bunch and that the first instinct when someone insults them is to snap and tear the very heart of whoever insulted them from their chest and devour it whole like a ravenous coyote but don't. Stop. Take a breath.

Now why would I say this? Why would I not encourage you to stand up and fight for the band that means so much to us? Simple. It's because 99.9% of My Chemical Romance fans cannot argue for shit. If you can use logic and intelligent valid points in your discussions, then please by all means stand up for the band and defend them. But if you can't (and this goes for most of you) do all of us a favor and SHUT THE FUCK UP. You make us all look bad when your only defense is, "SHUT UP, THEY ROCK AND YOU SUCK! YOU'RE PATHETIC!" and other lame ass shit like that.

You need to accept that no, not everyone is going to love the band like you do. This is okay. No, contrary to popular belief just because you believe they are the greatest band in the history of forever does not mean everyone will or should agree. People are allowed to have dissenting opinions and express them.

You also need to realize that you don't need to defend the band. They are grown men and will do what they choose to do. You love them, you listen to them, you support them, and that is wonderful. That is all the validation you need. As long as it means something to you, who gives a fuck if some random person on the internet says that they suck? You're not going to change anyone's opinion by getting into stupid, pointless, and worthless arguments over the internet. Stop caring so much what other people think and enjoy My Chemical Romance because you enjoy them.

This can actually apply to any fandom. I am so so so so sick of people putting other people down based on their fandom of choice. The fandom obviously means something to them, so why would you ever want to take that away from someone? Music is one of the most healing, inspiring, essential gifts we have. Why would you ever cut down something that means so much to someone? This does not mean you have to go around pretending to like everyone. A simple, "I'm not into them," is perfectly fine. Just don't completely bash someone simply based on the fandom they love. You hate Fall Out Boy and think Pete Wentz is the biggest douche bag God ever cursed the Earth with? That's fine. But realize that Fall Out Boy and their music and even Pete could mean the world to someone. And I really don't understand why you would ever want to hurt someone that much, by attacking something that means so much to them.

On the flipside of this, it absolutely breaks my heart when I see people get upset because their fandom is attacked. Like I said above, some of these fandoms mean the world to people and it kills them to see random people be so cruel and so vicious towards them. I understand this. I completely get this, but at some point you have to say, "Fuck it." I used to not mention that I was a fan of some of the bands that I was a huge fan of because of all of the shit I got for it. I was simply tired of defending myself to people. I was even a little ashamed to like the bands I liked. Then I realized, "Why? Why am I hiding this? These bands mean so much to me, why am I pushing them away, why am I acting like they don't mean anything?" So what if someone doesn't like them? So what if someone sees me in a Panic! At the Disco shirt and makes fun of me? So what if someone notices that I'm a My Chemical Romance fan and gives me the usual, "they're emo bullshit" speech? Does that change how much I enjoy the music? Does that have any affect on the impact they've had on my life? Does that mean shit? NOT AT ALL. At some point, you just have to say, "Fuck it. They mean something to me and that's all that matters."

I completely get why people get so involved in these fandoms and why people don't want to have such fandoms constantly criticized and mocked. I get it. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as long as the fandom is important to you. It's about the effect it's had on you. It's about how much you love them. It's about how they make you feel.

Gerard Way has the most perfect explanation I have ever read. I read this way before I even liked My Chemical Romance and I can remember being completely blown away. Gerard said, "If for one minute you think you're better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band? You wore their shirt and sang every word. You didn't know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about."

THAT is why we love the fandoms, THAT is why they mean so much to us, THAT is why you should never tear down anyone else's fandom regardless of your personal feelings towards said fandom, and THAT is why you should never have to defend your fandom.

Here's the deal:

OH. MY. MOTHERFUCKING. GOD. IN HEAVEN.

MCR show was tonight... And unfortunately I cannot recap 90% of what happened. Why, do you ask? Well, two reasons. First of all, you will enjoy it SOOOO much more if you have no idea what you're in for. The surprise is half the fun! :D Second, my brain broke within the first ten minutes. Yes. It is THAT awesome.

If you have the chance to go, FUCKING GO. No questions, just go. Seriously. No joke here.

Here's what I CAN share:
1) Massive amounts of slash. And they wonder why this stuff is written! YOU DO IT TO YOURSELVES! :P

2) Massive amounts of ass-shaking from Gerard. Very much appreciated, Gee! :D

3) Massive amounts of screaming. From the fans. I am going to have this ringing in my ears for the next week or so, I guarantee it.

4) Massive amounts of theatrics and cool effects. I can't go into detail, but you'll love it.

5) Massive amounts of good times. Everyone I heard talking about it was saying how amazing it was. No one had a bad review (except the usual "I can't move my legs.." and such but that's at any concert XD)

I just got back from the 89x show which featured, among others, MY CHEMICAL FUCKING ROMANCE!

This is extremely long post so I will spare your f-lists and put it under a cut...

I will get to MCR in a moment. First I must tell you of my panic attacks on the way. The show started at 5 (or it was supposed to start at 5) so I told Ashley (my bestest friend and the one I was going with) that we should leave around 1:30 or 2-ish. She agreed and I was happy. She calls this morning and says she's studying for her chem final and she'll call me when she's on her way. I was excited. So I wait. And I wait. And I wait.. Then 2 comes and I haven't heard anything from her. So I text her and ask if she's on her way. She calls back and says no, we're waiting for her mother to get home so she can get directions to the arena. I calmly say "Okay." but in my head I'm screaming, "GO TO FUCKING MAPQUEST!!" but that's because I have a tendency to overreact when it comes to concerts. Ashley knew this from the Green Day show we attended, when I flipped out on her because we left an hour later than I wanted to. Anyhow, I tell myself that I'm just overreacting like I always do and everything will work out like it always does. So Ashley comes and picks me up at 3. We get lost in Detroit. Yeah, it's quarter to 4 and we're still not at the show. I AM FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. I have to laugh to keep from hysterically crying.

We find our way with the assistence of her mother and a man named Jim who I assume works with her mother. We get to the show at about 4. We stand in the wrong line for about 5 minutes before finding the correct line. The correct line causes another panic attack. It is massive. I immediately look and say, "FUCK THAT." and I try to wait around by the front. Unfortunately the security guards aren't convinced that we would be "wandering" around the line for an hour, so we went to the back of the line and waited like good little children. The line starts to move. This is the most loose, unorganized line I've ever seen so I walk ahead of the slower people and manage to get up closer. Not astounding panic attack quenching close, but closer than we were. Ashley didn't follow me and we're arguing with our eyes over where to stay. She finally joins me and we're happy. The line moves again a little later and they STOP ONE HALF OF THE LINE. This happens to be the half we're in. My head is about to explode. I start eating the sleeve of my Adeline jacket to keep from screaming at the goddamn security (for the record though, the Cobo security are very nice and we really had no big issues with them).

We finally get to the doors and the line gets divided in two. We move to the other line because it looks shorter. Wrong. It is SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. Again, my head is about to explode. We get in and literally run to the stage. We're not front row, but we're third row, which is a hell of a lot better than we actually should have gotten. After much waiting, the show starts and a local band called The Hard Lessons plays. The music are most awesome, the singer is hooooot (he looks like Anthony Keidis), and the band is very nice. This one bitch who is in front of me (she's an older mom lady) drove me insane. First of all, I am a short girl. I am not tall in any stretch of the word. This lady is a bit taller than me and has poofed out '80s hair which is constantly in my face. I see a spot available in front of her. I politely ask if I could get in front of her because I can't see anything. She says no. At that moment, I decide that when people start shoving I am going to do nothing to stop myself from elbowing and pushing this bitch out of the way. The second thing this lady did that irritated me was during the Hard Lessons set. Augie (the hot lead singer) sat at the edge of the stage and reached out and was grabbing the hands of the people in the audience. He was really close to me so I kept waving at him. He looked at me, smiled, went to reach for me, AND THIS BITCH REACHES UP AND GRABS HIS FUCKING HAND BEFORE I COULD! So I just grab his hand away from her and shot death glares at her. I hate this lady.

Anyways, the Hard Lessons were very good. OK GO comes on. Apparently there are a lot of OK GO fans in Detroit because the place went fucking nuts. I wasn't even shoved this much at Green Day. These really annoying girls try to push their way up front. Them and the girls next to me nearly get into a fight over it. I am on the side of the girls next to me. So one of the annoying girls gets next to me and right at that moment, the crowd pushes us towards her. She falls down and I give her a elbow to the throat. Of course it was "accidently." ;) Anyways, the place is going insane. I decide that yes, it would be awesome to be so close when My Chem comes on, but is it worth this? Another thing people don't know about me, I can't handle heat very well. If I get overheated, I pass out. I've never ACTUALLY passed out yet, but I've come so close it's not even funny. I decided that I didn't want the 89x show to be the first time I actually succeed in passing out (and besides, my body is literally being pressed three different ways at once and from where I am I can't see anything but arms and heads or hear anything but the people around me screaming) so I look at Ashley (who is getting shoved just as much as I am) and ask if she wants to leave. She says yes. Yes, we're pussies. Live with it. We do. So we try to flag down security to lift us out, but they are completely oblivious. We're waving and screaming, "FUCKING SECURITY! LET US OUT!" but they don't notice. I yell at the people in front of me (Yes, including that stupid lady that I hate) to get security for me. The security finally becomes aware of my presence and are about to reach out to get me, when the lead singer from OK GO thinks that this would be the perfect time to jump into the crowd. So he jumps down and everyone goes, "AAAAHHHH!" and pushes even harder to try to touch this guy. I shout, "WRONG TIME, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" but I don't think he heard me. Anyways, he goes back onstage and security pulls me out.

I stumble to the concession stand and buy an overpriced water and an overpriced Coke because if I don't get something in my system in the next ten seconds, I am literally going to die. I stumble *and yes, I am literally stumbling* back to the floor, but I stand off to the side in the back by the seats. I still have a great view and I don't care much for OK GO anyhow, so I spent most of the rest of their set recuperating. Ashley joins me shortly and we agree no more front row. It never works out for us and we always end up going in the back anyways. Yes, like I said, we are pussies. Get over it. We still have a terrific view from where we are and we can move and breathe. OK GO do a great little dance at the end of their set, which I absolutely loved. During the break between OK GO and Angels and Airwaves, Ashley and I go to the lobby/concession area, and we buy the Hard Lessons CD. We then see the hot lead singer just walking around, so we follow him and get to talk to him. He tells Ashley he likes her earrings and he signs her CD (which she gives me because I didn't get a picture with him) and gets a picture with her. He kinda ignores me, which I'm pissed about, but then I realize the reason. When he said his name on stage, I thought he said Tommy. So I kept calling him Tommy. His name is Augie. I feel like an idiot. >_<

Angels and Airwaves comes on and Ashley and I continuously yell stuff at Tom. Things like, "WHERE'S MARK?!" and "HERE'S TO ASS FUCKING!!" and "TOM DELONGE LIVES A LIFE OF COURAGE!" (which I also screamed at the beginning of the show when the host announced Angels and Airwaves was playing ^_^). Halfway through their set Ashley says she knows why Tom left Blink 182. It was so he could form a band where he could wear tight pants and do floaty dance moves on stage. ^_^ I agreed. By the way, Tom's floaty dance moves are hilarious and make the band worth seeing live. They play a Blink 182 song, which I thought was the biggest dick move Tom could have ever pulled. That led to increased screaming of, "WHERE'S MARK AND TRAVIS?!"

Taking Back Sunday comes on and OH MY GOD. Their lead singer.. HOT. Incredibly hot man. He's adorably dorky too. He sang a little of a T.I. song because someone threw a Popeye rap shirt on stage during their set. He said he liked the new T.I. album, but if Popeye is where hip hop is headed, he'll stick with rock. ^_^ The band was good, but I don't know many of the songs so I couldn't really get too into it.

Taking Back Sunday leaves and My Chemical Romance sets up. I am flipping out at this point. While they set up, I notice the girl from the Hard Lessons over on the side, so we call her over and she autographs my CD and gives Ashley a hug. Her name is Koko and she's super nice. And her dress was awesome. At this point, we see two little (like 7,8 years old) kids with TBS autographs. I suggest mugging them, but Ashley shoots the idea down. Their dad was pretty big, so I think she made the right call. Anyways My Chem sets up and THEY ARE AMAZING. The first thing that happens when they walk out is I grab Ashley and say, "OH MY GOD! THEY ARE FUCKING GORGEOUS!" I've always known these boys were hot, but in person, they are impossibly beautiful. Gerard says "fuck" a lot too. =P This is the set list as best I remember it (I have a horrible memory but this should be at least partially accurate.. The order is probably fucked up, but the songs are right):

During one of the songs, someone threw a pink boa on stage and Gee put on it and was prancing around with it. It was the GAYEST thing I've ever seen him do and I loved it. Also someone threw something else at him (I'm not sure what) and he caught it like in those kung-fu movies where the student snatches the grasshopper out of the master's hand. He even looked shocked like, "How the fuck did I just do that?!" XD And he said, "I'm wondering just HOW fucking riled up you people can get." And we proceeded to show him. =D Oh and right before they did Cancer, Gee announced it and all a sudden it was dead silent. Without even realizing it, I shouted, "MIKEY WAY! ROCK THAT TAMBORINE!!" and I am 99% sure he heard me because it was completely quiet when I screamed it. XD So there you go, Angie! I did it! =) And Gee did quite a bit of crotch rubbing, which made me almost pass out =P. And HE DID THE "Prison" ORGASMIC SCREAMS!! I nearly died from excitement and happiness. XD Honestly, My Chem completely blew me away. They are incredible live. I only wish they could have had a longer set (Detroit has a stupid 11 curfew so they couldn't play past 11 *kicks Detroit*).

After the show, we were going to find their tour bus. We figured out that we had no idea where the tour buses were. I met Green Day at Cobo (the same arena we were at), so I thought perhaps MCR would be in the same backstage area that Green Day had been in when I met them. So after a bit or argument, I get Ashley to forsake a crowded elevator in search of them. We go to where I met Green Day and I am resolved to wait outside the door until they come out, we get kicked out, or it is blatantly obvious that they are not in this room. There are security everywhere (not really being security guards, just getting ready to go home) so Ashley wants to leave. She's driving, so I have to follow her. So no, I didn't get to meet the boys. I still had a fantabulous night and I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world.

I had such an amazing time but now it sucks because I have 2 finals tomorrow (starting at 7:55 a.m.) and work from 4-midnight. It was completely worth it though and I wouldn't do one damn thing differently (Well, except for maybe waiting longer to meet MCR =P). I'm gonna attempt sleep now but I hope you all are having as lovely a night as I had. =D G'night!
