Explore the EULEP project’s efforts to boost skills, VET and C-VET in European business practice.
Overview
The project partners work together to set up centres of vocational excellence in their respective countries/regions.
The centres are to promote the usage of continuous vocational education and training (C-VET) to foster lifelong learning while helping companies innovate and remain competitive on the market.
With this in mind, the different project activities will contribute to:
- Making C-VET more appealing to young people & adult learners from different horizons and more relevant to companies/SMEs
- Delivering businesses with fully tailored-made training modules aligned with their needs and changing labour market trends
- Boosting knowledge triangles at regional and national level, bringing together businesses – VET providers – European Digital Innovation Hubs
- Embedding VET in regional economic development strategies, strengthening its governance, and leading it into a sustainable future
- Setting the basis for the development of transnational C-VET training modules, aligned with European VET quality standards

Skills Assessment Handbook & Toolkit
One of the main objectives of the EULEP project is to offer businesses new and tailor-made training modules, designed through skills analysis, anticipation and alignment for CVET training, that correspond to their skills needs in artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and social innovation (SI).
The skills assessment handbook produced as part of the project is meant as a practical guide for businesses to determine their skills and training needs when adopting digital technologies like AI and VR and to enable them to up and reskill staff with the help of the training materials developed under EULEP. It is accompanied by a toolkit that comprises practical templates and checklists for the skills assessment process. The guidelines and tools described in the present handbook and the toolkit will allow SMEs to plan and implement skills assessment processes in line with their needs and capabilities.
