Zemfira was born in the city of Ufa, in the working-class neighborhood of Chernikovka on Admiral Ushakova Street, where her family lived until the end of the 1990s. Zemfira is of Tatar origin. Her father is Talgat Talkhoyovich Ramazanov, a history teacher. Her mother is Florida Khakimivna, a doctor specializing in physical therapy.
