His father founded the Benihana chain. Steve was raised in Newport Beach, California.<\/p>\n<p>He is a half-brother of model and actress <a href=\"http:\/\/ethnicelebs.com\/devon-aoki\">Devon Aoki<\/a>. His niece is model, singer, and songwriter Yumi Nu.
