His parents are<\/a> Jewish. He was raised mostly in Encino, California. Jeff is married to executive director Paulette Light. His daughter is producer and actress Talia Light Rake.<\/p>\n

Jeff’s paternal grandfather was named Frank Rake (the son of Joseph Rake).<\/p>\n
