Tzi Ma (\u99ac\u6cf0) is a Hong Kong-born American actor. He is known for his roles in the films Rush Hour<\/em>, Catfish in Black Bean Sauce<\/em>, The Quiet American<\/em> (2002), The Ladykillers<\/em>, Akeelah and the Bee<\/em>, Skyscraper<\/em> (2018), The Farewell<\/em> (2019), Mulan<\/em> (2020), The Kid Detective<\/em>, and Gunslingers<\/em>, and on the series 24<\/em>, Hell on Wheels<\/em>, The Man in the High Castle<\/em>, Wu Assassins<\/em>, Bosch<\/em>, and Kung Fu<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tzi was born in Hong Kong, a British colony at the time. His father had moved there following the Communist Revolution in 1949. Tzi and his family moved to New York City, New York, when he was five years old. He grew up mostly in Staten Island, where his parents ran Ho Wah, a Chinese restaurant. He is married to actress Christina Ma.<\/p>\n
