Deep Roy, also known as Gurdeep, is a Kenyan-British actor, puppeteer, and stuntperson. His roles include the films Flash Gordon<\/em> (1980), Return of the Jedi<\/em>, The NeverEnding Story<\/em>, Starship<\/em> (1984), Return to Oz<\/em>, Going Bananas<\/em>, Alien from L.A.<\/em>, Howling VI: The Freaks<\/em>, The Resurrected<\/em>, Planet of the Apes<\/em> (2001), Big Fish<\/em>, as the Oompa-Loompas in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory<\/em> (2005), Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride<\/em>, in voice performance; Star Trek<\/em> (2009), and its sequels; Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen<\/em>, and Paranormal Movie<\/em>, and the shows Blake’s 7<\/em>, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment<\/em>, and Eastbound & Down<\/em>. He is a dwarf, and is 4’4″.<\/p>\n
