Richard Wright was an English keyboardist and songwriter. He was a founding member of progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Syd Barrett<\/a>, David Gilmour<\/a>, Nick Mason<\/a>, and Roger Waters<\/a> were also members of the band. He was also known as Rick Wright.<\/p>\n

Richard was the son of Daisy and Robert Charles Wright. He has two children with his former wife Juliette Gale; and a son with his wife Mildred “Millie” Hobbs. His daughter Gala was married to bassist Guy Pratt, who worked with Pink Floyd; and with whom she had a son.<\/p>\n

Richard’s paternal grandfather was named George Wright (the son of Andrew Wright and Hannah). George was born in Saxby, Lincolnshire, England. Andrew was born in Barrow, Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n
