Harry Wayne Casey is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is the frontman of disco and funk band KC and the Sunshine Band. He is also known as K.C.<\/p>\n

His father, Harry Casey, was of English and Irish descent. His mother, Jane, was of Italian [Calabrian] ancestry on one side, and of Dutch, English, German, Scots-Irish\/Northern Irish, Scottish, Swiss-German, Welsh, as well as remote Belgian [Walloon], French, Norwegian, and Swedish, descent, on the other.<\/p>\n

Harry’s paternal grandfather was Robert Henry Howard Casey (the son of Henry H. Casey and Emily Cornelia Powell). Robert was born in Georgia. Emily was the daughter of Francis Marion Powell and Samantha E. Saffield.<\/p>\n

Harry’s paternal grandmother was Katie Ellen Cox (the daughter of Andrew W. Cox and Sarah Jane Adams). Katie was born in Georgia. Andrew was the son of Carr Cox and Mary Jane Fincher.<\/p>\n

Harry’s maternal grandfather was Antonio Pugliese (the son of Francesco Luigi Pugliese and Maria Guiseppa Critelli). Antonio was an Italian emigrant, from Pentone, Province of Catanzaro. Francesco was the son of Carlo Pugliese and Santa Rodino. Maria was the daughter of Antonio Critelli and Rosa Rotella.<\/p>\n

Harry’s maternal grandmother was Callie May Stewart (the daughter of William Floyd Stewart and Mary Jane Meade). Callie was born in Virginia. William was the son of Allen Winfield Stewart and Mariah Catherine Neff. Mary was the daughter of McDonald “Mack” Meade and Catherine “Kattie\/Katy” Lane.<\/p>\n
