Elsa’s father is of Italian descent. Her mother was born in Algeria, of French, Sephardi Jewish, and Spanish background (considered to be Pied-Noir), with roots in Birkhadem.<\/p>\n

Elsa’s maternal grandfather was named Charles Jobert (the son of Augustine Jobert). Charles was born in Dijon, C\u00f4te-d’Or, France, and was in the French army. Augustine was the daughter of Madeleine Jobert, who was of French background.<\/p>\n

Elsa’s maternal grandmother was \u00c9liane\/Andr\u00e9e Azoulay\/Azulay (the daughter of Abraham Azulay and Mar\u00eda Joaquina Blanca de la Sant\u00edsima Trinidad Garc\u00eda Mart\u00edn). \u00c9liane was born in Birkhadem, Algiers. Abraham was Sephardi Jewish, from Algiers, and was the son of Jos\u00fae Azulay and Mazaltob Dahan. Mar\u00eda Joaquina was Spanish, from Bonares, Huelva, Andalucia, and was the daughter of Joaqu\u00edn Garc\u00eda and Josefina Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n
