Julius was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to German Jewish parents, Jacob Haas and Sophia Bauer. Corey’s paternal grandmother was Arlene Foster (the daughter of Harry Feinstein\/Foster and Anna Martin). Arlene was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sadie was born in Minsk, the daughter of Meyer\/Moshe Levitt and Jennie\/Chiene\/Rebecca Horowitz.<\/p>\n

Corey’s maternal grandmother was Shirley Orentlich (the daughter of Louis Orentlich and Rose Shapiro). Shirley was born in New York. Louis was born in New York, the son of David Orenlick\/Orentlich, who was a Russian Jewish immigrant; and of Pauline\/Paulie, who was an Austrian Jew. Rose was also a Russian Jewish immigrant.<\/p>\n
