Mike D is an American rapper, musician, producer, songwriter, and fashion designer. He was a member of the hip hop group Beastie Boys, in which he played the drums. Other members included\u00a0Ad-Rock<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Adam Yauch<\/a>. He is also known as Mike D, Mike Diamond, Country Mike, The King of Lunch, and Meshach.<\/p>\n

Mike is the son of Hester, an interior designer, and Harold Diamond, an art dealer. He grew up in a Jewish family. Mike has two children with his wife, director Tamra Davis.<\/p>\n
