Noah Galvin is an American actor and singer. He has appeared in the film Booksmart<\/em> and on the shows The Real O’Neals<\/em> and The Good Doctor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

His brother is multi-instrumentalist, dancer, and visual artist Adrian Galvin\/Yoke Lore. His father is Catholic, of Irish and Italian descent. His mother is Jewish, of Russian Jewish, Polish Jewish, and Austrian Jewish descent.<\/p>\n

He has said<\/a>, “I was raised both Jewish and Catholic going to CCD [Confraternity of Christian Doctrine], Hebrew School and church. My siblings were both confirmed and had their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.” He has also often described<\/a> himself as Jewish.<\/p>\n

Noah is married to actor, singer, and songwriter Ben Platt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Noah’s paternal grandfather was named Frank Egidi. Frank had Italian ancestry.<\/p>\n

Noah’s paternal grandmother was Helen Devota Cuddihy (the daughter of Paul Robert Cuddihy and Rita Kernan). Helen was born in New York, and had Irish ancestry. Paul was the son of Robert Joseph Cuddihy and Emma Frances Lavina Bennett.<\/p>\n

Noah’s maternal grandfather is Jack Fink (the son of Ysruel Nuchim “Nathan” Fink and Malke Dvora “Dorothy” Radzinsky). Jack was born in the Russian Empire, to a Jewish family. Ysruel was born in Poland, the son of Yudel Finkelstein and Malke Rachel Goldberg. Noah’s great-grandmother Malka was born in Poland, the daughter of Zvi Hirsh Radzinsky and Shoshana Sura Kawer.<\/p>\n

Noah’s maternal grandmother was Florence Waze (the daughter of Samuel Waze and Belle Cashman\/Cashwan). Florence was born in Michigan, to an Austrian Jewish father, from Radziech\u00f3w, and a Russian Jewish mother. Belle’s mother was named Leah.<\/p>\n
