Stephanie Hsu is an American actress. She played Joy/Jobu in Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is also known for her roles in the films Set It Up, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Shortcomings, Joy Ride (2023), The Fall Guy (2024), and, in voice performance, The Monkey King, Leo, and The Wild Robot; and on the shows Girl Code, The Path, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, Blue Eye Samurai, The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, these four in voice role; and Laid.

She was raised by a single mother. Her maternal grandmother moved from China to Taiwan, and had sent Stephanie’s mother to the U.S. for schooling.

Stephanie’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Sun.
