Sofie Dossi is an American gymnast. She was featured as a contestant on the eleventh season of America’s Got Talent.
Her mother’s family is Palestinian, from Ramallah, West Bank. Sofie’s brother is musician Zak Dossi.
Sofie’s paternal grandfather was James Louis Dossi (the son of Louis Henry Dossi and Margaret Rachel Cabtree). James was born in California. Sofie’s great-grandfather Louis born in Pennsylvania, to Italian parents, Sperandio “Sperandus” Dossi, who was from Caprino Veronese, province of Verona, Veneto region, and Teresa/Theresa Elizabeth Arduini. Margaret was born in Nebraska, the daughter of Charles Walter Cabtree and Mabel Lavina Porter.
Sofie’s paternal grandmother was Antoinet Lee “Toni” Abati (the daughter of Anthony Abati and Elizabeth F. Keith). Antoinet was born in California. Anthony was born in either New Mexico or Kansas, to Italian parents, Giovanni “John” Abati and Costanza Palazzeri/Palazzari. Elizabeth was born in Kansas, the daughter of John Wesley Keith and Lillie Brunskill, whose parents were English.
I never knew she was biracial (half European half West Asian), crazy!
Some Palestinians look white, most look Middle Eastern I’d say. Not enough to count her as “biracial” yet.
Rotfl lolol there aren’t European and especially Nordic Mena this the dream of both of you, they’re dark and Arab looking, take a trip to Palestine and see how dark and Semitic Levantine they are they look Indians and Hispanics also.
Her mother resemble a Hispanic woman and being American surely is mixed to other races so not fully Mena, and she, the daughter, has something a bit exotic like the nose she gives me the vibe of a mulatto because of the Arab side, a race which is colored, her hair makes it more evident. Her brother looks Jew.
Yes…why don’t we all take a trip to Palestina right now?
But green eyed, yes the rest of the features are unusual to be purely European I see her big thick nose, which has the Afro/other colored shaped.
Every time your “whites” have something atypical and poc, you always fail. You being non-European have different standard of whiteness and prove it.

So, this woman looks “Hispanic” to you?
To make a more relevant example, illustrating my point, I wouldn’t doubt Ms. Dossi is half Palestinian just because she has European features.
Sofie’s maternal family is from Ramallah, Palestine

1/4 Italian.
“Dossi” sounds very Northern Italian.
