Robert Shwartzman is an Israeli-Russian racing driver. He competes in the IndyCar Series, with the No. 83 Chevrolet, for Prema Racing. He was a member of Ferrari Driver Academy, and was previously part of the FIA Formula 2 Championship, and a reserve driver for Ferrari in Formula One. He is the 2018 Toyota Racing Series and 2019 FIA Formula 3 champion.
Robert was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. His father, Mikhail Shwartzman, was from Russia. Robert was raised partly in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and in Italy. He raced for Russia, until switching to Israel in 2022. A picture of Robert with his father can be seen here.
