Raymond Berry is an American professional football player, and coach. A split end, he played his entire professional career with the Baltimore Colts of the National Football League (NFL), retiring as the all-time NFL leader in both receptions and receiving yardage. He played in the 1958 game known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” He was later a wide receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys, the University of Arkansas, the Detroit Lions, the Cleveland Browns, and the New England Patriots; head coach for the New England Patriots; and quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions and the Denver Broncos. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1973.
Raymond is the son of Bess and Mark Raymond Berry. He is a born-again Christian.
