Peter Mensah is a Ghanaian-British actor, who works in Canada. He is known for his roles in the films Jason X, Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, the 300 franchise, The Incredible Hulk (2008), Avatar (2009), The Scorpion King: Book of Souls, Snake Eyes (2021), The Devil Conspiracy, Gladiator II, and Trust (2025); on the shows A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Witchblade, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Spartacus: Vengeance, Transformers Prime, Sleepy Hollow, Midnight, Texas; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Departure; and in the made-for-tv movie Enslavement: The True Story of Fanny Kemble.
He born at Chiraa, to parents from the Brong Ahafo Region, the son of a writer mother and an architect engineer father, Peter Osei Mensah. The family moved to Hertfordshire, England, during his childhood. Peter moved to Canada in the early 1990s, where he began his acting career.
