Pete Nice is an American rapper, music producer, and basketball historian and author. He was a member of hip-hop group 3rd Bass, with MC Serch and DJ Richie Rich. He hosts the series Hip Hop Treasures. He also authored the book Baseball Legends of Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery.

Pete is the son of Carole and Raymond Nash. His brother is basketball coach Brian Nash. He is married to Roxanne, with whom he has one child.

Pete Nice’s paternal grandfather was named Peter Nash (the son of Peter Nash and Mary Anne). Pete Nice’s great-grandfather Peter was born in New York, to an Irish father, and to a mother who was born in England, to Irish parents. Mary Anne was born in Ireland.
