Patrick Ewing is a Jamaican-American professional basketball player, coach, and actor. A center, he played for the New York Knicks, as well as the Seattle SuperSonics and the Orlando Magic, of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was asisstant coach for the Washington Wizards, the Houston Rockets, the Orlando Magic, and the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, and coach of Georgetown. He is in the Hall of Famer as a player. He is 7′0″.

Patrick is the son of Dorothy and Carl Ewing. He played cricket and soccer as a child. In 1975, he moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S. He has three children, including professional basketball player Patrick Ewing, Jr.

Patrick’s maternal grandfather was named Cecil Phipps.

Patrick’s maternal grandmother was named Rosabelle Burton.
