Mitchell Slaggert is an American model and actor. His roles include the films Wish Upon and Write When You Get Work; the shows Diablo Guardián, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Landman; and the made-for-tv movie A Carpenter Christmas Romance.

Mitchell’s paternal grandfather was Douglas Leo Slaggert (the son of George Leo Slaggert and Gladys Patricia Douglas). Douglas was born in Michigan. George was the son of Lawrence Esliger Slaggert, who was of mostly French-Canadian, and some Dutch, descent; and of Louisa Herzberg, whose parents were German emigrants, from Berlin and Bavaria, respectively. Mitchell’s great-grandmother Gladys was the daughter of John A. Douglas, who was Canadian; and of Mary Alice Connelly, who was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, and was of Irish descent.

Mitchell’s paternal grandmother was Joclyn Lois Caswell (the daughter of Rollin Samuel Caswell and Lois Ethel Loomis). Joclyn was born in Michigan, and had deep roots in the U.S. Rollin was the son of Sidney Robert Caswell and Elizabeth Mae McDonald. Lois was the daughter of John Harder Loomis and Edith Maud Hutchins.

Mitchell’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Hutton.

Mitchell’s maternal grandmother was Carol Ann Shook (the daughter of Curtis Edward Shook and Reba Miriam Duffy). Carol was born in Michigan. Curtis was the son of Edward Spencer Shook, who had deep American roots; and of Mary Agnes Alesi, whose parents were Austrian. Mitchell’s great-grandmother Reba was the daughter of Victor Hugo Duffy and Nellie Mays.
