Marlain Angelides is a Cypriot singer, songwriter, and actress. She was a member of Greek pop girl group Hi-5. Shaya was also a member of the group.

Marlain’s father was born on Cyprus, of mainland Greek origin. Her mother is said to be of half Scottish and half Greek Cypriot descent. Growing up, she lived in Venezuela, Belgium, and then Cyprus. She spoke fluent Spanish for a time.
