Lydia Cornell is an American actress. She is known for her role on the series Too Close for Comfort.

Lydia is the daughter of Irma and Gregory Korniloff, who were concert violinists. Her father was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. She is the sister of piano prodigy Paul Korniloff; and Kathryn Korniloff, who co-founded the band Two Nice Girls, and who is a sound designer and composer. She was raised partly in Scarsdale, New York.

She has two children with her former husband Paul Hayeland.

Lydia’s paternal grandfather was named Jacob/James/Yakov Alexander Korniloff (the son of Alexander Korniloff).

Lydia’s paternal grandmother was Anthusa/Aufisa/Anfisa Alexis Kiriloff (the daughter of Alexis Kiriloff and Anna Chadaeff).
