Kellie Coffey is an American country music artist.

She was raised in Moore, Oklahoma. She is married to songwriter, actor, and producer Geoff Koch, with whom she has two children.

Kellie’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Ray Coffey (the son of Thomas Jefferson CCoffey and Lillian L. Ray). Kellie’s grandfather Thomas was born in Omaha, Texas. Kellie’s great-grandfather Thomas was born in Omaha, the son of John Melvin Coffey and Mary Ellen/Eleanor Ragland. Lillian was born in Whitewright, Texas, the daughter of Albert Edgar Ray and Araminta Morgan.

Kellie’s paternal grandmother was Edna Mae Poindexter (the daughter of John Walter Poindexter and Carrie Belle/Bell Richardson). Edna was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Kellie’s great-grandfather John was born in Grimes County, Texas, the son of John Walter Poindexter and Martha Jane “Jennie” Madill Brodnax, whose father was from England, and whose grandfather was Gen. Kellie’s great-great-great-grandfather Joseph L. Melot was born in Michigan, c. 1839, to French immigrant parents. His wife, Catherine “Kate” Bergeron, was born, c. 1853, in Kansas, to a French-Canadian father, François Xavier Bergeron, and to a Potawatomi/Ottawa Native American mother, Josette Watch-e-kee “Watseka”, who was born, c. 1810, in Illinois. She was the daughter of “Benjamin” Shabbona, an Ottawa tribe member who became a chief within the Potawatomi tribe, and of Monashki.

Kellie’s maternal grandmother was Rosalie Jackson (the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Jackson and Susie Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ballard). Rosalie was born in Oklahoma. Kellie’s great-grandfather Thomas was born in Tennessee, the son of Thomas Jefferson Jackson and Mary Polly Brewer. Susie was born in Oklahoma.
