Josh Conway is an American drummer and producer. He is one half of indie pop band The Marías, alongside María Zardoya.

His father is London-born music publisher and producer Lionel Conway.

Josh’s maternal grandfather was David Lee Powells (the son of Ernest Raymond Powells and Bessie Freis). David was born in Los Angeles, to a Jewish family. Ernest was born in Chicago, to Polish parents. Bessie was born in Chicago, to a Lithuanian father and a Ukrainian mother.

Josh’s maternal grandmother was Harriette Beatrice Richman (the daughter of Jacob Bernard Richman and Toby Olswanger). Harriette was born in Los Angeles, to a Jewish family. Jacob was born in Ukraine, to a Russian father and a Belarusian mother. Toby was born in Užventis, Lithuania.
