Jason is married to Turkish-born fashion model and actress Ceren Alkaç. He has a son with his former partner, actress Beth Riesgraf; and three children with Ceren.

Jason’s paternal grandfather was named James Clarence Lee. James was born in Colorado.

Jason’s paternal grandmother was Marcelete Louise Stephens (the daughter of Morilus Rigan Stephens and Maggie Mae Allen). Marcelete was born in Texas. Morilus was the son of Richard T. Stephens and Nancy A. Brown. Maggie was the daughter of John Jay Crittenden Allen and Viola Ann Woody.
