Jason Keller is an American playwright and screenwriter. He wrote the film Machine Gun Preacher, and co-wrote the films Mirror Mirror (2012), Escape Plan, and Ford v Ferrari. He created the show Stick, which he has also written for. He has also been credited as Arnell Jesko, an anagram.
He is the son of professional baseball player Ron Keller, who played for the Minnesota Twins, and of actress J Susie Keller. He has two children with his former partner, actress Kristin Dattilo; and a daughter with his partner, actress Andrea Anders. Kristin is the sister of actor Bryan Dattilo.
Jason’s paternal grandfather was Norbert F. Keller (the son of Joseph Christopher Keller and Anna Louise/Marie Moorman). Norbert was born in Indiana. Joseph was born in Indiana, to parents from Germany. Anna was born in Kentucky, also to German parents, Franciscus “Frank” Moormann and Bertha Elizabeth “Bettie” Randolph.
Jason’s paternal grandmother was Lena Mildred King (the daughter of Howard King and Lena R. “Nettie” Easter). Jason’s grandmother Lena was born in Indiana. Howard was born in Kentucky, and likely was the son of John H. King and Elizabeth. Jason’s great-grandmother Lena was born in Kentucky, the daughter of James Dyson Easter and Miranda Jane Moore.
