His roles include the films Union City, Brubaker, Quest for Fire, Dune (1984), Stephen King’s Silver Bullet, Field of Honor, Heartbreak Ridge, Iguana, Licence to Kill, Jezebel’s Kiss, The People Under the Stairs, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, My Fellow Americans, and The Straight Story; and the show Twin Peaks.

He was raised in Kansas.
