Ejae, also styled EJAE, is a Korean-American singer, songwriter, and actress. She provides the singing voice for Rumi in the film KPop Demon Hunters, including the song “Golden,” as part of fictional girl group Huntrix/HUNTR/X. Rei Ami/Zoey and Audrey Nuna/Mira are also part of Huntrix.

She moved to the U.S. for college, attending NYU.

Ejae’s grandfather is actor, arts patron, film producer, and politician Shin Young-kyun. Shin was born in Pyongsan, Korea, Empire of Japan, now Hwanghae Province, North Korea.
