Edd Gould was a British animator, artist, and voice actor. He is known for creating the flash-animated web series Eddsworld. The media franchise consists of flash animations and web comics featuring fictionalised versions of himself, alongside collaborators Tom Ridgewell, Matt Hargreaves, and Tord Larsson.

Edd’s paternal grandfather was Robert Graydon Gould (the son of Robert Butler Gould and Hilda Adela Breeze), Graydon was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. He was an actor, and moved to England in 1957 to attend drama school. Edd’s great-grandfather Robert was born in Northumberland and Durham, Ontario, Canada, the son of Robert Burr Gould and Alice Butler. Edd’s great-grandmother Hilda was born in Shifnal, Shropshire, England, the daughter of Frederick Morris Breeze and Alice Elizabeth Whale.

Edd’s paternal grandmother is named Pamela Judy Poppy. Pamela was born in the West Midlands of England.
