Cooper Kupp is an American professional football player. A wide receiver, he plays for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously with the Los Angeles Rams. He was Superbowl MVP for Super Bowl LVI (2022); while with the Rams.

Cooper is the son of Karin and Craig Kupp (Craig Marion Kupp), a professional football player. A quarterback, his father was with the New York Giants, the Phoenix Cardinals, and the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL, and the San Antonio Riders and the Montreal Machine. His grandfather, Jake Kupp, was also a professional football player; a guard, he played for the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Redskins, the New Orleans Saints, and the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. His brother, Ketner Kupp, had also been signed by the Rams. His family is the only family to have had three generations selected in the NFL draft.

Cooper is married to Anna Croskrey, with whom he has three children. He is a devout Christian.

Cooper’s great-grandmother Evelyn was born in Washington, to Norwegian parents.

Cooper’s maternal grandmother was Linda Effinger (the daughter of Douglas Morton Effinger and Billie Astride Michaelson). Douglas was born in Oregon, the son of Robert Patterson Effinger, Jr. and Nellie Brazee.
