Clare Kramer is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the films Bring It On, The Rules of Attraction, The Skulls III, The Gravedancers, The Thirst (2007), Road to Hell, Big Ass Spider!, and Tales of Halloween, and on the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Goodnight Burbank.

She was mostly raised in Delaware, Ohio. She is married to producer Brian Keathley, with whom she has four children.

Clare’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Edwin Kramer (the son of William Ernst/Ernest Kramer and Katherine Gertrude McElhatten/McHatten/McHatton/McElhatton). Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois. William was born in Pennsylvania, to a father from Germany, William John Kramer, and to a mother from Pennsylvania, Caroline “Carrie” Ruppert, whose family was also German. Katherine was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thomas Sylvester McElhatton, whose parents were Irish; and of Ellen “Nellie” Dunn.

Clare’s paternal grandmother was Margaret Ann DeWeese (the daughter of William Brewster DeWeese/DeWees and Mabel Matilda Martin). Margaret was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. William was born in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, the son of James A. DeWeese/DeWees and Mary Amanda Taylor. Mabel was born in Adams, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Alvin Martin and Margaret Matilda Sproul, whose father was Irish, from Donegal, and whose maternal grandparents were also from Ireland.
