Brea Grant is an American actress, writer, and director. She is known for her roles on the series Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Dexter, and Maron, and in the films Middle of Nowhere, Halloween II (2009), Detour (2013), Smothered, Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival, Beyond the Gates, A Ghost Story (2017), Bad Apples, After Midnight (2019), The Stylist, and Happily. She has directed and written the film 12 Hour Shift, written the film Lucky (2020), which she also starred in; and directed the film Torn Hearts.

Brea’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Hicks “Joe” Grant (the son of Stephen Nathaniel Grant and Mary Elizabeth Jackson). Joseph was born in Louisiana. Stephen was born in Louisiana, the son of Stephen Nathaniel Grant and Catharine Fuller. Mary was born in Louisiana, the daughter of Henry I. Jackson and Frances “Fannie” Mason.
