Change Bad Bunny’s ethnicity to: Puerto Rican [Spanish, African, Indigenous Taíno, 1/32nd Italian, remote French)

I 100% agree with this. Bad Bunny’s profile should reflect his African and indigenous ancestry.
He himself has on numerous occasions credited his “afro-latino” culture as an inspiration for his art.

      • HappyFish1026 says:

I retract this statement, “credited his ‘afro-latino’ culture”; he has never directly claimed to be afro-latino, but is inspired by afro-latino culture. Despite this, I still do believe that he is African; if you see photos of his mother and father, this is evident. But I do want to make it clear that he himself has never identified as afro-latino.

He looks tri racial(European, Native and Black) like most Puerto Ricans.

    • andrew says:

He can pass for North African

      • midori29 says:

@andrew The Majority of North Africans have subsaharan African dna and they are admixed. North Africa consists of triracial admixtures just like Puerto Rico. This is why he looks North African. North Africa has Spanish, Middle Eastern and Subsaharan admixtures.
Then there are black North Africans.

@luckystar I always get confused when people talk about Puerto RIcans like its a race. I live in NYC where there are millions of puerto ricans and honestly they all look so different from each other. I’ve seen some that are black, brown, some that even look asian, some that are white as scandinavians etc. I wonder how many people still think Latino is a race. I mean look at Rosie Perez, Jlo, Ricky Martin, Josh Segarra, and Ricardo Rossello, they are all puerto rican but they look different from each other. Different phenotype, different colors, likely different genetic makeup etc.

@Italiano you are exactly correct. Puerto Rico is just a country and definitely not a race. Just people with shared Soanish language and culture. Ive traveled to Puerto Rico and saw a woman the exact almost color of a black crayon then I saw all different skin tones, including white people.
