Ashley Walters, also known as Asher D, is a British actor and rapper. He is known for starring on the show Adolescence. His roles also include the series Grange Hill, The Hidden City, Last Rights, Hustle, Small Island, Five Days, Outcasts, Top Boy, Inside Men, Truckers, Cuffs, The Aliens, Safe House, Bulletproof, which he also co-created; A Thousand Blows, which he also directed episodes of; and Missing You; the films Some Voices, House of 9, Bullet Boy, Goal! The Dream Begins, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker, Life and Lyrics, WΔZ, Sugarhouse, Speed Racer, Tuesday (2008), Anuvahood, Sket, Demons Never Die, Fedz, All Stars (2013), Billionaire Ransom, and Two Is a Family; and the made-for-tv movies The Murder of Stephen Lawrence, Storm Damage, and West 10 LDN.

One of his parents is from Guyana, and one from Jamaica. His mother, Pamela Case, was a local government officer. Ashley is a cousin of neo soul singer and songwriter Olivia Dean.

He is married to Danielle Walters, who is an actress. He has eight children, including two with Danielle.
