Alba Baptista is a Brazilian-Portuguese actress. She is known for her roles on the series Jardins Proibidos, A Impostora, Filha da Lei, Madre Paula, A Criação, Jogo Duplo, and then, in English, Warrior Nun; and in the films Fatima, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Amelia’s Children, and Borderline (2025).
Her father, an engineer, is Brazilian. Her mother, a translator, was born in Hamburg, Germany. Alba is married to American actor Chris Evans, with whom she has a daughter.
She herself looks Portuguese but there’s no way she is 100% european with her Father looking like this. I’d estimate she has very distant indigenous and african lineage from her father’s side as obvious from his phenotype

She looks like a typical old stock, colonial Portuguese white Brazilian, i would say specially those from the southeast region, Minas Gerais for example. Don’t know wich state her Brazilian family comes from, but depending on the region she could have some indigenous or black ancestry down the line, specially if her Portuguese-brazillian heritage traces back to the colonial times. But her non-white ancestry is likely distant, since her family is very likely upper-middle-class, mixing is more common amongst the poor.

She looks Arab and Hispanic too totally non-European, Portuguese are more Arab related than Spaniards which is astonishing never forget the second ones have had more than 700 years of Moor background. Spaniards are 50% MENA and the Portuguese like 80%.

Alba’s mother was born In Germany but she’s of Portuguese ethnicity. why are you trying to deny that alba is Portuguese? she always says that she’s Portuguese even Chris say she’s portuguese instead of Brazilian or German
