Ugh, stupid Photobucket (part 2):

Basically what happened is PB has stopped allowing third-party hosting and wants to charge you nearly $500 to upgrade, which will have storage and third-party hosting. This is utter bullshit, and I hope the site dies from this or gets sold to someone far more capable of running a website.

PB had already turned to garbage once they started with all those damn ads. Ads fucking everywhere, and it’s insane! It’s probably one of the only ways (other than people paying for their accounts) to get money coming in, but I sure as hell am not paying for such a slow and unreliable site.

There are definitely other alternatives out there to use such as:

So, I implore everyone to use one of those. You may not be able to organize your photos as well as you can in PB, but they’re worth a shot since PB is practically unusable by now. Hell, at this point you may as well just use that money PB wants to create your own website to host pictures/graphics on.

I will try and bring my old icons back, but it will take time because PB isn’t allowing me to download albums - I have to download icons one by one, and that takes a long, long time to the point where it’s almost not worth it. I mean, some of my albums have sub-albums, and those sub-albums have 20-50 icons in them if not more, and then there are 10 sub-albums, so yeah, it's gonna take me a while.

Anyhow, that’s pretty much what’s going on right now and I hope to get the comm back up and running. Sorry for the delay and all that, if anyone cares, but that's how it is at the moment.

Alright, so Photobucket has decided to be a complete dick to me (again), and is not showing my images, so I plan to reupload them to another photo hosting site and then post them if I can, so I'm sorry (if you're interested in my icons) some of my icons aren't showing up. The ones that are showing up are uploaded to some of my LJ albums, hence the visibility.

So again, I'm sorry the icons aren't showing up. Blame anyone hotlinking my icons, and blame Photobucket for being a dick.

Hey guys. I'm really sorry I haven't been posting icons as of late last year. I just haven't been inspired into making them, and a couple of the communities I participated in either stopped or took a hiatus, and I just haven't had the energy to do them. I'm hoping one of these days I'll get back into it.

I DID make 7 icons for a the7days challenge, but I thought I'd do a bit more icons before I posted them. So that's about all I've done. I've either spent my time on YouTube or on Tumblr.

So, I'm really sorry I haven't been posted, and hopefully the inspiration will come back soon. :)

Once Upon a Time Mood Theme - Season 3 (UNFINISHED):

PLEASE READ FIRST!

1. As a future warning, if you use the coding for the Admin Console, change the file type to .GIF, NOT .jpg or .png or else it will not work.

2. Change the width and height to 100 x 60.

3. Please credit etherealnetwork.

This covers parts of Season 3. There are single characters as well as groups/duos, so I hope there's a nice variety for you all.

The reason I'm posting this unfinished (there are only 60 moods in here as opposed to 132) is because the show isn't what it used to be for me - I've lost about 95% interest in this show. Season 3 ruined this show as a whole for me and while I started to like it when it came back after the hiatus, I quickly grew frustrated with it and I had (and still have) NO desire to finish it. However, I don't want all my work to go to waste, so I'm simply posting all of what I did and I'm going to leave it at that.

You can also mix the first two seasons in with this one for a "complete" set, which you can find here:

3. Go to the LJ admin console.

4. Now, in the text box, paste in the following:

moodtheme_create "Title of Theme" "Short Description of Theme"

Of course, replace the "Title of Theme" and "Short Description of Theme" text with the title and description. They can be anything you want, as long as you remember the title, because you'll need it for later. Once you're done, click "execute". If you're successful, the console will give you a number. Copy down this number!

5. Now go to the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file; or you can go to crackified's instructions and she has a version for download but you need to edit it a bit more). Using the "replace" tool in your notepad program, replace the 12345 number with the number the console gave you previously. Also replace the "http://www.hosting.com/" url with the url to the folder that stores the images on your domain, or the photobucket album. Make sure that the height and width (100 X 60) for each mood image is entered correctly, otherwise it will not look right. Also, make sure the file type is .gif, NOT .png or .jpg!!!

6. Now, paste in the edited codes into the admin console, and click execute. You should be directed to a page with your accepted codes. If not, go back and re-do the steps again.

7. Now go to your customize page. If you're using s2 (if you don't know what that means, then you probably are using s2), go to the "Customize Selected Theme" button on the bottom right of the page. There should be a "Mood Theme" section on your new page - underneath it, there is a drop down menu. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

If you're using s1, simply scroll down your customize page until you find the "Mood Themes" section. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

And you're done! Your theme should now be up on your LJ.

Sometimes with Photobucket, if your link exceeds 100 characters, LJ won't let you upload it, so often enough it's best if you upload the moods to another website OR even your LJ Scrapbook, which has smaller links than Photobucket.

Using the Custom Mood Theme Editor

1. Download the zip file for the mood theme you want, and unzip it in winzip or a similar program.

2. Upload the mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. Do not change the file names.

3. Go here. Underneath "Create a New Theme", enter in the name of the mood theme you are about to upload. Click the create button.

4. Now you need to use the URLs of the mood images that you uploaded earlier. Enter in the appropriate URL for each mood section. Make sure that the height and width for each mood image is entered and correct (100 X 60). Also, make sure the file type is .gif, NOT .png or .jpg!!! When you're done, click on Save Changes at the bottom. And you're done!

5. Now go back to your Mood Theme Editor. Your new theme should be included on your list of mood themes. When you find it, look to the right of the mood icons and click on the "Use" button. Save changes, and your mood theme should be up on your LiveJournal.

PSA Re: Sanctuary Icons:

Today I realized I stupidly deleted all of my Sanctuary icons from Photobucket. My only saving grace is that my Nikola icons were saved to the Jonathon Young album instead of the Sanctuary album, so at least those were okay. But still, those icons are gone now.

Make sure that the height and width for each mood image is entered and correct, otherwise that mood will not be saved. Also, make sure the file type is .gif, NOT .png or .jpg!!! When you're done, click on Save Changes at the bottom. And you're done!

5. Now go back to your Mood Theme Editor. Your new theme should be included on your list of mood themes. When you find it, look to the right of the mood icons and click on the "Use" button. Save changes, and your mood theme should be up on your LiveJournal.

Peter Wingfield Mood Theme:

This is only my third mood theme (and so far those have turned out okay), so hopefully it turns out fine. It's in a ZIP file/folder, whatever you want to call it, and the theme is in PNG format so hopefully that's alright. I have 2 PNG moodthemes uploaded and they work perfectly for me, so hopefully they'll work for you as well.

Because I couldn't even begin how to explain this simply, I've copied and pasted easy instructions (under the cut) from crackified, from this entry. Or you can input each link/mood manually, it's up to you. If anyone has any questions, feel free to leave a comment.

Caps used are from: Highlander, Sanctuary, Queen of Swords, Men in Trees, Charmed, Caprica, The Sin Eater, Cold Squad, Holby City, Kingdom Hospital, Bliss, Noah's Ark, Martin Chuzzlewit, and various photo shoots.

Using the Admin Console

1. Download the zip file for the mood theme you want, and unzip it in winzip or a similar program.

2. Then upload the 132 mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. If you're using Photobucket, I suggest you download Flock, which allows you to upload images in batches. Do not change the file names.

3. Go to the LJ admin console.

4. Now, in the text box, paste in the following:

moodtheme_create "Title of Theme" "Short Description of Theme"

Of course, replace the "Title of Theme" and "Short Description of Theme" text with the title and description. They can be anything you want, as long as you remember the title, because you'll need it for later. Once you're done, click "execute". If you're successful, the console will give you a number. Copy down this number!

5. Now, back in the zip file, open the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file (The Adminconsole.txt file should be in the download but let me know if its not. Or you can go to crackified's instructions and she has a version for download but you need to edit it a bit more). Using the "replace" tool in your notepad program, replace the 12345 number with the number the console gave you previously. Also replace the "http://www.hosting.com/" url with the url to the folder that stores the images on your domain, or the photobucket album.

6. Now, paste in the edited codes into the admin console, and click execute. You should be directed to a page with your accepted codes. If not, go back and re-do the steps again.

7. Now go to your customize page. If you're using s2 (if you don't know what that means, then you probably are using s2), go to the "Customize Selected Theme" button on the bottom right of the page. There should be a "Mood Theme" section on your new page - underneath it, there is a drop down menu. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

If you're using s1, simply scroll down your customize page until you find the "Mood Themes" section. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

And you're done! Your theme should now be up on your LJ.

EDIT: Sometimes 'Pissed Off' gets a little "wonky" because photobucket won't allow spaces in a files name, so you'll have to change that manually. Again, if you have problems/questions, feel free to leave me a comment.

Using the Custom Mood Theme Editor

1. Download the zip file for the mood theme you want, and unzip it in winzip or a similar program.

2. Upload the 132 mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. Do not change the file names.

3. Go here. Underneath "Create a New Theme", enter in the name of the mood theme you are about to upload. Click the create button.

4. Now you need to use the URLs of the mood images that you uploaded earlier. Enter in the appropriate URL for each mood section. Make sure that the height and width for each mood image is entered and correct, otherwise that mood will not be saved. When you're done, click on Save Changes at the bottom. And you're done!

5. Now go back to your Mood Theme Editor. Your new theme should be included on your list of mood themes. When you find it, look to the right of the mood icons and click on the "Use" button. Save changes, and your mood theme should be up on your LiveJournal.
