We are off until Capricon. And it was a silly one tonight! Small audience, close friends, a lot of music and a LOT of digression. It was like going back in time and making a Cheshire Moon show into an Eric solo show!

* is a song that will be on the new CD

Set One
*Circus Of Dreams
*Horizon (brand new, first time played in public)
*Banshee (see above)
A Song About Fog
Hot McGonagall
*Don't Look Now (rarely played, but it will show up more now)
*Persephone
*Alice In Zombieland (the "hang on to your seats it's going to be a bumpy ride" mix)
*Boneman's Daughter

Set Two
*Call Me Home
Disenchanted
*Loki Loves You
Witch In Your Story
Denali
Sleep No More
Snow White Red Road
Winter's Night
Wassail (the CM version of FPN)

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites.
Another recording session tonight. Got a lot of stuff done on the demos. Nine songs are done, they just need mixing.

Alice In Zombieland
Banshee
Boneman's Daughter
Call Me Home
Circus Of Dreams
Don't Look Now
Horizon
Loki Loves You
Persephone

Wednesday Lizzie goes in to work on Morrigan. It will be layers of vocals. And to record the title song.

We have 4 songs to either finish writing, or rehearse into some sort of coherency ...

Beast Within
Clotho's Harp
Ghost Train
Nighty Knights (blame Adam Whitlach for this)

Then these go off to the folks playing on the band version of the CD. And off to folks who got them as a bonus at a Concert Window show. They will also get released when the CD comes out, for those folks who like the acoustic side of Cheshire Moon.

Closer and closer to getting this part of the project done!

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites.
Cheshire Moon is looking toward the new year, and looking for places to play. We have our con schedule pretty well worked out, and are now looking for those other shows.

We're looking for house concerts, coffee houses, pagan gatherings, folk festivals. Any place where our particular sort of whimsy may be enjoyed.

We prefer to stay in the Midwest, 6 hours or so from Iowa. Time off from work is a consideration. We can be persuaded to go further in the right circumstances and with enough notice.

If you have any ideas, send them our way. If you want to host a house concert, definitely get in contact with us.

We're looking to do one or two shows a month next year. Please help us find those shows!

This was originally posted on Dreamwidth, after which it wandered out to various other sites. Feel free to reply where ever you want.
