My artistic practice explores the complexity of human connection and communication in the contemporary digital age. Having come of age alongside the internet, I continue to observe the impacts of technology on each part of my life. Through my work, I question what it means to be ‘connected’ in a time of hybridization and uncertainty.
Reference images sourced from my personal archive of photos and screenshots serve as documentation of my life experiences. The digital image serves as a portal to a different time, at once relatable, nostalgic, and painfully elusive. My work responds to the technology that is now ingrained in a collective memory, intertwined in the experience of life itself.
