How the blazes do you USE this? There are no instructions. No access from the ET-4850. No access from my computer. No instructions here online. Useless.
Grayed, just got myself into the same question. It is really hidden: After installing OCR component from here (or from Epson website), - and maybe restart or even reinstall "epson scan2" - you have an option in the "scan type" pulldown which says "searchable pdf". Tried it, works for me !
