Recently Re-discovered

And because of that, I plan on posting more often here. XD. I don't know what all I can say...but you know. Sometimes I just don't feel like it, and others, I get so busy that I forget.

My main goal though, to get all 4 seasons of CSI...yes, that is my goal. Before the 5th season appears on DVD, and the 3rd season of CSI Miami. Which, I will definately get, regardless of what anyone says...

Its been a LONG time since I've updated this...LOL...I almost forgot that I had it...well, good news though -- H (my horse...the gelding) is doing alot better, I've even been able to ride him. Hopefully, I can get him going on barrels before the end of the season. Which would be great. XD.

After all of that stuff that we gave the new horse, he's gotten alot better. And now, is even walking on that foot.

Thank God, it wasn't bad.

I was worried that it was, and that we might have to put him down. Luckily it wasn't. He's even began to gain alot of weight. So, next week, I think, I should be able to ride him. Hopefully.

Vet

Well, I had to call a vet out, like I thougt earlier. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. But that would explain my absence. Anyway, the vet came out here last Tuesday, and checked the horse over. And said that it could possibly justbe a reinjury. And that he said that the horse could of bumped it in the trailer ride down here, or that the people hauling him up here could of hit a pothole causing him to stumble.

Whatever it was, caused his fetlock to swell up. Right above where the barbed wire cut is. The vet said that I should give him 70ccs of Penicillin twice a day in 35cc intervals, morning and night for a week. Along with two tablets of bute twice a day in his grain.

Plus cold washing...

He's not limping as bad now, and actually walking on it. So, hopefully I will get to ride him soon. :)

Well, I got the horse Monday like planned. However, it still has the cut, and is still limping. ALOT. I fear that we're going to have to call a vet out on this, but we are going to give it 20CCs of Penicillin a night, for a week to see what happens.

I really hope that he does get better. Because if he doesn't within 3 months, I'm going to have to sell him, and I really don't want to do that.

Well, I just got a call from the horse transporters in Texas, saying that the horse is in the trailer, and heading this way. I honestly believe that if I could get my Arabian running barrels, then I think that I can get this Thoroughbred started. No big deal.

As for this weekend, the barrel race was okay, I didn't knock any barrels down, but I didn't place either. Which is okay, I still had alot of fun. And that's the point of it, right? RIGHT.

Well, I've been trying to figure out how to do an icon for the longest time now, and SOMEONE out there must know how to make it. *sigh*

I am SO ready to pull my hair out over this livejournal layout thing! If ANYONE knows how I can get my user pic to show with EVERY post that I make, PLEASE do not hesitate to comment!

In other news, the Thoroughbred that I bought gets picked up Sunday. No big surprise, actually. But I just wish I knew when it would get here. I talked to the hauling people, and they said that they would call Sunday, with an arrival time.

*sigh*

I won't be here, as I have a barrel race to go to. And I haven't ridden in a week. Its nice outside, and supriseingly warm. So, I just might ride.

I've got a request...

I'm looking for someone to be able to make an mini - movie icon. Of the drinking scene with Eomer. After Legolas says that he thinks it affecting him. Just Eomer. I'd like it to say, "In love with the Third Marshall of the Riddermark (or Mark).

Just seeing if this thing works. I've been wanting to start one up for awhile, and well, never actually had the ambition to do so. However, after being prodded by a friend of mine, I did so. And I know that it'll take awhile for me to get used to everything. But I suppose that's okay.
