Endurance helps your Mac run 20% longer. No matter how good your battery is, everyone could use a little more battery power! Endurance is an app that helps your Mac run longer. Endurance runs in the background and when your battery level drops to a certain level, it automatically starts adjusting your settings and turning off features which use a lot of energy. Our tests have shown that it can give you about 20% more runtime, which you can spend writing, browsing the web and watching movies. Who wouldn't want 20% more?

How Endurance saves battery life: Customizable Endurance can automatically activate the following energy saving modules. Prefer not to use a certain module? You can turn it off so it won't bother you. Turning off Turbo mode. Your processor, the brains of your computer, can go into overdrive, which uses up a lot of processor. By turning off Turbo, your computer will run a little bit slower, but it'll last a lot longer.
Quitting greedy apps: Did you know that Chrome can take up 20% of your battery, even when it's just open in the background? Endurance keeps track of what's gobbling up your energy and puts those apps to sleep. Reopen them, and your tabs are right where they were.
Dimming your screen: Your big shiny screen takes a ton of electricity to run. Endurance can slowly dim it over time, but like a frog in boiling water, you won't even notice.
Hide background apps: Your Mac is smart enough to slow down apps which are hidden offscreen. So we just automatically minimize them when they're in the background.

I have good experience with Endurance app. It helps me save 1-1.5 hours on Intel mac in critical situations. And now I happy owner of m1 mac and I use Endurance as 30% low battery alert to keep battery energy upper 20%. Losing battery from 30% to 20% with Endurance it takes hours. I want automation switch off Endurance at 80% (or other value from settings) battery.

Disabling turbo boost (slow down processor function) is not working on Big Sur at the moment. Hopefully, an update to fix this issue is on the way and will be released soon.

Endurance does, at times, use lots of CPU itself (latest version, 2.0 / 36, 38 or whatever they call it) – so for me, it's a no-go, and I'll be purchasing Disable Turbo Boost Pro. Also annoyed that it disables its power-management features when connecting to power. I'm using an app like this to tame my 2010 MBP which runs very hot by design. Not just to save battery. Also to save my lap from getting fried! Apart from that, the app worked well, although an uninstaller would be appreciated, considering how malware-deeply it infects your system with its files!

Being a heavy user on your mac whether you're a student , teacher , researcher, freelancer or just average user will always need a push for your battery to stand long much more , iPhones have low power mood , unfortunately it is not in the mac , endurance get it to your mac , with a very simple and easy to use utility, try it and you will love it ... sure 5 stars
