✈ I am so sorry for being absolute pants at updating, and reading my flist. I think we should all just accept that I am no good at LJ anymore. And I will probably not be as active as I used to be again. I still love LJ with all my heart, it's been my home for so many years now, and I love all of you so much. But I can't seem to get into it properly again. I am very active on my Tumblr though, if any of you want to keep in proper touch over there!

✈ Also one of the reasons why I haven't updated much if because I've been quite busy, and earlier this autumn my grand-father died. He was very old, 86, but it was still very unexpected, so that was kind of a rough time. I really miss him, he was the oddest of creatures.

Funniest thing, and one of the things I miss the most, was that he was terrified of "the Russian", as he used to call them. He was a part of the Defense, Swedish Army, during the Cold War and apparently they were very afraid back then that "the Russian" would come and occupy Sweden. Which I mean, it was a validated concern at the time, I mean this was the generation after the Winter War between Soviet and Finland, and Soviet was a threat for Sweden at the time.

Still, years and years later Granpa was still terrified. I think he almost had a heart-attack when I told him that I had friends who were Russians, and once when my mum and I were in Italy and made friends with a Russian family he didn't talk to us for a week. Good times.

✈ I'm seeing the Hobbit tonight! I am SO excited! Going to go and be a fangirl in a corner now!

✈ Also, feel sorry for me. It's about -20 where I live, except right now since it's snowing - it's like a proper Christmas Wonderland outside - AND THE HEATING IN MY ROOM DOESN'T WORK! I swear I go around most days with about five layers of clothing and i am still freezing like there's no tomorrow!

✈ So, I've been home for about two days, and my mum have been playing christmas music every hour of every day. It's really comfy and sure helps with my christmas spirit.
The thing is that I just realized how fitting one of my favorite songs are when it comes to you guys. It's swedish but the lyrics goes something like this;
