Prosenjit K. "Jit" Bose is a Canadian mathematician and computer scientist who works at Carleton University as a professor in the School of Computer Science and associate vice-president (research) at Carleton University.[1] His research concerns graph algorithms and computational geometry, including work on geometric spanners and geographic routing in wireless ad hoc networks.
Education
[edit]Bose did his undergraduate studies in mathematics at the University of Waterloo, graduating in 1990, and earned a master's degree from Waterloo in 1991.[1] He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from McGill University in 1994 under the supervision of Godfried Toussaint.[1][2] After postdoctoral studies at the University of British Columbia, he became an assistant professor at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 1995, and moved to Carleton in 1997.[1]
