Bangladesh Shines at World Invention Competition and Exhibition 2025

Bangladesh teams posted a standout showing at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) 2025, winning 17 medals across categories and levels.

According to the event’s official results, Bangladeshi entrants earned 14 golds and three silvers at the international science and innovation meet hosted by SEGi University in Kota Damansara, Malaysia.

WICE, organised by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) with SEGi University, brings together students, researchers, and innovators to present science, engineering, and technology solutions to real-world problems.

This year’s edition was held 21–25 September 2025 in Malaysia. Projects were evaluated based on their creativity, innovation, practical application, and presentation.

At the Elementary level, two Bangladeshi teams won gold: Hollow AI (IT & Robotics) and Tarar Bari (“Building humanity’s next home beyond Earth,” IT & Robotics).

At the Secondary level, eight teams medalled. Golds went to Aquabot (“Aqua Bot 2.0,” IT & Robotics), Rescue Rover (“Pothochari 1.0,” IT & Robotics), RV14k (“Eco Fusion,” IT & Robotics), Young Sparks of Bangladesh (“Eco Pulse,” IT & Robotics), Therabot (“Smart Medical Companion Robot,” Applied Physics & Engineering), Deligo (Innovative Social Science) and River Guard (Innovative Social Science). Fusion Force (“Ember Knight,” IT & Robotics) won silver.

At the University level, seven Bangladeshi teams reached the podium. Golds were awarded to Chuadanga Science & Robotics Club (“HexaGuard Rover,” IT & Robotics), Team Akash Pathabo (“Sky isn’t the Limit,” IT & Robotics), BUBT (“Agro_Doctor,” IT & Robotics), Phantom Forge (“Floodhawk,” IT & Robotics), and Tech Autocrats (Innovative Social Science). Silvers went to DeltaVolt (“Helmet MQ3,” IT & Robotics) and Ongona (“Security App,” IT & Robotics).

WICE is part of a series of IYSA-run international events that draw participants from multiple countries; SEGi University has confirmed its hosting of the 2025 edition in Kota Damansara.
